You will be joining a small and fun dedicated team in an open work environment where the best idea wins. You enter the picture as a critical team member for an online application going into its 3rd version.
That includes the following primary responsibilities:
- Develop web applications on LAMP platform. You love web apps and PHP!
- Identify, troubleshoot and fix bugs
- Database fine tuning and maintainance
- Expand knowledge base and skills in appropriate technologies
You will need the following Qualifications:
- At least 2 years working experience with PHP / MySQL
- Solid knowledge of MySQL database optimization and query tuning
- Development experience with JavaScript, JSON, jQuery, CSS and HTML
- Experience with PHP development frameworks, preferably Zend Framework
- Good understanding of XML/XSLT
- Excellent object-oriented programming skills
- User interface concepts
- Linux and SVN
- Web services
- Willing to learn new technologies
Assets:
- Knowledge of financial accounting applications
- Experience with tesing, PHPUnit and test driven development
- Other programming languages, Python, Java
